SEAGULL Movement Technology

ST19 Movement

The self-winding mechanical movement operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour, offering a power reserve of up to 37 hours when timed and 45 hours when untimed. The ST19 movement, known for its rugged reliability, can be regulated to chronometer-grade accuracy. This movement is featured in the 1963 Seagull watches, a testament to its enduring performance. It stands as a significant accomplishment in Chinese watchmaking, earning recognition among mechanical chronograph enthusiasts for its excellent performance and value.

ST2130 Movement

The automatic mechanical movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of up to 39 hours. This movement is the most widely used base movement in Seagull's ST21 series, providing essential functions such as hour, minute, second hands, and a calendar display to meet daily needs. It is also featured in watches like the Ocean Star. With its 39-hour power reserve, the bidirectional rotor automatically winds the movement as the wrist moves, ensuring a continuous and robust power supply for the watch.

ST25 Movement

The St25 automatic mechanical movement operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour and boasts a power reserve lasting up to 45 hours. A standout characteristic of this series of movements is its tourbillon. The tourbillon's distinctive wing-shaped cage appears to float suspended in mid-air. It provides a captivating view of the oscillating balance wheel's rhythmic motion, revealing the intricate interplay of its tiny components that unleash formidable energy, offering an endless aesthetic journey of kinetic beauty. The precision of its mechanical operation is showcased through a panoramic, three-dimensional transparent perspective.

ST17 Movement

The automatic mechanical movement operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of up to 39 hours. This series features the elegantly designed "small three-hand" base movement, which includes a small seconds subdial. Known as the "small three-hand" or "two-and-a-half hand," this configuration evolved from early pocket watch designs. By relocating the seconds wheel to the bottom, the hour and minute hands no longer share the same axis, thus reducing the gear space. This innovation results in the ST17 series of manual-winding movements, boasting an ultra-thin profile of just 3.2mm.

ST18 Movement

The automatic mechanical movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of up to 42 hours. This series features the ultra-thin, high-end base movement, compacted to the size of a single coin and containing 172 meticulously crafted parts. The production line utilizes fully imported, state-of-the-art processing equipment. Each ST18 movement is equipped with a Swiss Incabloc shock absorber structure, providing maximum protection against external shocks while maintaining its ultra-thin profile.

ST16 Movement

The automatic mechanical movement functions at 21,600 vibrations per hour and has a power reserve of up to 39 hours. This series currently emphasizes the intricately engraved, skeleton movement. With a diameter of under 3cm, the movement is assembled using just 16 minuscule screws and barely visible gears. The rigidity of the machinery and the delicacy of the openwork merge seamlessly, creating a harmonious blend of light and shadow, resulting in exceptional transparency and precision in timekeeping.
